Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi ended a three-day visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Wednesday and left for Indonesia.

Yang's tour focused on his talks with DPRK's top leader Kim Jong Il on Tuesday and both sides touched on a series of issues including the nuclear issue.

China, host country of the six-party talks, wants to see the "full implementation" of the existing agreements on the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, Yang said.

Kim said there have been some "signs of easing" on the peninsula and all parties concerned should take initial actions.

China has worked hard to resolve the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue and the DPRK hopes to continue to communicate and coordinate with China on the issue, he said.

Yang also met with Premier Kim Yong Il and his counterpart Pak Ui Chun.

The Chinese Foreign Minister arrived in Pyongyang on Monday after a three-day visit to Mongolia.
