Nepali PM meets Chinese delegation |

Nepali Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala Friday morning in Kathmandu met with a Chinese delegation led by China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) vice-chairman Li Shaoxian. PM Koirala and the Chinese delegation discussed matters of mutual interest including ongoing peace process in Nepal, bilateral trade relations, etc.
Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Ram Chandra Poudel was also present at the meeting.
CICIR delegation arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday for a five- day visit. On Friday afternoon, the delegation attended the interaction on "Nepal-China Contemporary Dialogue" organized by Nepal's Institute of Foreign Affairs and China Study Center-Nepal. Minister Sahana Pradhan for Foreign Affairs, Minister Hisila Yami for Physical Planning and Works, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Nepal Zheng Xianglin also attended the program.
