Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have strongly condemned the killing of three Chinese nationals in outskirts of northwest city Peshawar Sunday night, a foreign ministry spokesperson said Monday. "They have ordered immediate inquiry into the incident," Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said at a weekly news briefing here. "The government will make all out efforts to arrest those involved in the dastardly act and punish them," she said. She said the president and the prime minister have also send messages of condolence to their Chinese counterparts. "They assured them of every effort to provide security to Chinese nationals in Pakistan," Aslam said. Replying to a question the spokesperson said it is obvious that those who are involved in such incidents do not care about Pakistan-China relations.
She said the friendship between the two countries is strong enough to pass such tests and trials.
