Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam Wednesday evening left here for China's business hub of Shanghai.

During his stay in the Chinese capital, Ramgoolam met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao respectively, exchanging views on bilateral relations and cooperation.

Ramgoolam is here on a six-day visit as Wen's guest. Besides Beijing and Shanghai, he will also visit eastern Anhui Province and Zhejiang Province.
