Vanuatu's President Kalkot Mataskelekele visited Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Wednesday, continuing his six-day state visit to China.

During his stay, Mataskelekele met with governor of Shaanxi province Yuan Chunqing, exchanging views on expanding cooperation between Vanuatu and the northwest province.

Besides, he visited the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum of Qin dynasty, a local historical museum and an ancient city wall.

The president arrived in Xi'an, the second leg of his six-day state visit to China, Tuesday night from Beijing. He will leave for Shenzhen, southern China's powerhouse, on Thursday.
