Chinese hostage freed in Niger |

The Chinese hostage abducted in northern Niger had been freed and handed over to International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Sunday, the Chinese embassy in Niger confirmed on Monday.
The hostage whose name is Zhang Guohua was kidnapped by armed men on July 6 near Ingall, about 1000 kms from Nigerien capital of Niamey.
