President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov arrived in the Chinese capital on Tuesday afternoon, kicking off his two-day state visit to China.
Berdymukhamedov was invited by Chinese President Hu Jintao. During his stay, Hu will talk with him. China's top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao are scheduled to meet with him, respectively.
It is Berdymukhamedov's first China trip since he became president in February this year.
