The All-China Journalists'' Association (ACJA) has condemned the "cardboard dumplings" report for "severely violating journalistic ethics and tarnishing the image of China''s media".

Authenticity was the lifeblood of journalism and ensuring authenticity of news reports was the basic professional ethic and a social responsibility borne by all journalists, the ACJA statement said.
