Chinese President Hu Jintao left Astana, capital of Kazakhstan, Saturday for home after concluding a state visit to the neighboring country.
Hu met with leaders of Kazakhstan Saturday to exchange views on promoting all-round cooperation between the two countries. Top leaders of the two countries pledged to take steps to enhance the China-Kazakhstan strategic partnership.
They also discussed important regional and world issues of common concern.
During Hu's visit, the two countries signed a number of documents on political, economic and trade cooperation.

The Chinese president arrived in Astana Friday from Russia's Chelyabinsk, where he observed a joint anti-terrorism drill staged by troops of the six SCO member states, together with topleaders of the other SCO member states.
