Signs and notices at Jinggang Mountain, a scenic spot known as China's revolutionary cradle, will be written in English, Korean and Chinese languages to serve a growing number of tourists from home and abroad.

The new signs will be translated by foreign experts and will be installed at the site in east China's Jiangxi Province at the end of next month, said Li Fulong, a tourism official with the Jinggang Mountain Administration.

The content of the signs includes names of nearby scenic sites, distances, and directions.

Signs for commonly used buildings, such as toilets, would also be marked in Japanese and French.

The new signs would cost about 2.8 million yuan (370,000 U.S. dollars).

Jinggang Mountain, the first rural base for the revolution led by the Communist Party of China, boasts more than 100 historic sites and has become a popular tourist attraction.

In the first seven months this year, it received almost two million tourists, including 35,000 from abroad.
