Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing on Thursday with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's special envoy Masatoshi Wakabayashi.

Wakabayashi, also Japan's environment and agriculture minister, held talks Tuesday with Zhou Shengxian, director of the State Environmental Protection Administration.

Premier Wen and Wakabayashi exchanged views on China-Japan relations, and cooperation on environmental protection and agriculture.
