Chinese defense minister leaves for visits to Japan, Philippines |

Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan left Beijing Wednesday, starting his official good-will visits to Japan and the Philippines from Aug. 29 to Sept. 6.
He is making the visits at the invitations of Japanese Defense Minister and Philippine Secretary of Defence.
