Chinese President Hu Jintao accepted in Beijing Wednesday credentials presented respectively by new ambassadors to China from Sri Lanka, Mexico, Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Bahrain, Benin, Bangladesh and Germany.

The eight new ambassadors include: Karunatilaka Amunugama from Sri Lanka, Jorge Eugenio Guajardo Gonzalez from Mexico, Mamady Diare from Guinea, John Momis from Papua New Guinea, Bibi Sayed Sharaf Al-Alawi from Bahrain, Sedozan Jean-Claude Apithy from Benin, Munshi Faiz Ahmad from Bangladesh, and Michael Friedrich Wilhelm Schafer from Germany.
