Mongolian Prime Minister M. Enkhbold met with Liu Hongcai, vice minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee on Monday.

M. Enkhbold, also chairman of Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP), said Mongolia and China had maintained high-level exchanges in recent years and bilateral relations have enjoyed a rapid boost.

"As ruling parties, strengthening exchange and cooperation between the MPRP and the Communist Party of China (CPC) is significant for boosting the bilateral ties between the two countries," he added.

Liu said that the CPC is ready to strengthen relations with the MPRP and other Mongolian parties so as to contribute to bilateral ties.

Liu arrived here last Sunday for a five-day visit to Mongolia.
