China's anti-corruption watchdog released on Friday its work report, highlighting "self-building" as one of its major tasks in the next five years in a bid to enhance their capacity to fight corruption.
"Self-building of the discipline inspection organs must be strengthened," reads the Report on the Work of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), adopted by the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Oct. 21.
The report said that discipline inspection personnel must strive to enhance their capacity to fight corruption, because they "are at the front-line of the combat against corruption and face severe trial of corrosion."
The anti-corruption force must improve research into major issues concerning "combating corruption and upholding integrity" and promote theoretical institution, so as to gain insight and initiative on the cause, the report stressed.
The central and local commissions for discipline inspection at all levels should be strict in discipline, said the report.
"Those who are not suitable for working in the discipline inspection organs must be transferred, and those violating disciplines and laws must be strictly dealt with."
The work report also underlines enhanced "self-building" of leaders in the anti-corruption force, including post rotation, exchange activities and training.
All leaders in the central and local commissions must shift posts according to relevant regulations, according to the report.
The report, written in 12,000 Chinese characters, stated the anti-corruption work and summed up anti-corruption experience in past five years and made suggestion for anti-corruption work in the future five years.
