Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang presented honors and awards to 269 recipients at the Government House Saturday.
Among the recipients, four received the Grand Bauhinia Medal, including Rita Fan, Rafael Hui, David Li and Lee Shau-kee.
Eight people received the Gold Bauhinia Star, while 24 received the Silver Bauhinia Star, 46 received the Bronze Bauhinia Star, and eight received the Distinguished Service Medals for Disciplined Services and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
Seventeen Medals for Bravery, including two gold, six silver and nine bronze, were also presented. Deceased fireman Wong Ka-hei was posthumously awarded and his colleague Chin Kwok-ming awarded Gold Medal for Bravery for their utmost act of bravery in the Tsuen Wan industrial building fire in May this year.
Another 43 people were awarded Meritorious Service Medals for Disciplined Services and the ICAC, 58 the Medal of Honor, 42 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service and 19 the Chief Executive's Commendation for Government/Public Service. Source: Xinhua
