CPPCC vice chairman meets EWI delegates |

The Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Xu Kuangdi met a delegation of the East West Institute (EWI) Monday in Beijing.
Members of the board of directors of the institute are on a China trip at the invitation of the China Institute of International Studies.
The EWI, founded in 1980 by American and European scholars and business leaders, is an international organization devoted to the study of issues that threaten peace and security. It enjoys the reputation as "think and do tank" in the international community.
