Senior CPC official meets Venezuelan foreign minister |

Li Changchun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of of the Communist party of China(CPC) Central Committee, met here on Thursday with Nicolas Maduro Moros, foreign minister of Venezuela.
Li said the cooperation between China and Venezuela had expanded in recent years and the two countries had coordinated in international affairs.
China would like to maintain high-level contact with Venezuela and deepened the reciprocal cooperation and cultural exchanges to push forward the strategic partnership, he said.
Maduro said Venezuela valued its relations with China and was ready to enhance cooperation with China in all fields.
Maduro will conclude his China tour late Thursday. He is here at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
