Chinese tourists are being welcomed to the Czech Republic with a wider range of services such as Chinese language guides and other helpful documents, Czech officials said Friday.

At a press conference marking the 15th anniversary since the city was enrolled in UNESCO's world heritage list, Czech officials told Xinhua that China was a big market for the Czech tourism industry.

Tourists now can find information on all of the 12 world cultural heritage sites in the Czech Republic in 11 different languages, including Chinese.

Lubos Jedlicka, mayor of Cesky Krumlov, said his city received 1 million tourists each year, many of whom were from Asian countries, especially from China.
