Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), met in Beijing on Thursday with a delegation of Burundian Forces for the Defence of Democracy (FDD).
Wang spoke highly of the relationship between China and Burundi and that between the CPC and the FDD, hoping the inter-party exchanges could enter into new height.
Wang said China would continue offering help within capacity to Burundi and other African nations.
Ngendakumana Jeremie, leader of the FDD, expressed appreciation for China's support to his country, noting he was ready to work with China to further promote bilateral relations.
