At least four miners were trapped Wednesday in a flooded coal mine in east China's Jiangxi Province, local government officials said.
The flooding occurred at around 4:00 p.m. in Qunfa coal mine, Shangrao county, when more than 10 miners -- the exact number was unavailable -- were working underground, said officials with the county government.
The mine has all necessary licenses and is allowed to produce 40,000 tons of coal every year. A rescue operation is underway. Source: Xinhua
