Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Wednesday talked over phone with Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili. The two sides exchanged views on Iran's nuclear issue.

Jalili, also secretary of Iran's top security body the Supreme Council of National Security, said Iran is willing to continue enhancing cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

During their talks, Yang explained China's principled stand on the issue and stressed that China will keep on playing an constructive role in solving Iran's nuclear issue properly through diplomatic efforts.
