Workshop blast kills 1, injures at least 12 in east China |

One person was killed and at least 12 others were injured in a workshop blast in Taizhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, local authorities said on Thursday.
The blast happened at 1:05 p.m. Thursday in a polishing workshop at Zhejiang Jinaoda Industrial and Trading Co., Ltd. in Binhai Industrial Zone.
The injured people, including two seriously hurt, are being treated in hospital.
The local government has ordered a comprehensive survey of work safety in all companies in Binhai Industrial Zone.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
