Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn arrived on Wednesday afternoon, kicking off an eight-day visit to China from April 2 to 9.
Princess Sirindhorn is invited by the Chinese government. During her stay in Beijing, she will meet Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body.
Apart from the Chinese capital, her tour will cover Qingdao, the Olympic sailing city in east China's Shandong Province, Dalian, a major port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province and Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province.
This is 25th visit by the Thai princess to China.
