Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn arrived in Qingdao, a coastal city of eastern China's Shandong Province, on Friday to continue her eight-day China tour.

She visited Taiqing Temple, which is a Taoist temple located on the Lao Mountain in Qingdao, and called upon Qingdao Olympic sailing center, Qingdao beer Museum as well as some other local landmark spots.

In her meeting with local officials, Sirindhorn said she was impressed by the charming views of the city. She said she hopes that Qingdao and its sister city in Thailand should further strengthen exchanges and cooperation.

Invited by the Chinese government, Sirindhorn started her 25th visit to China on Wednesday afternoon. Besides Beijing and Qingdao, she will also visit Dalian, a major port city in northeast China's Liaoning Province and Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province.
