Nepalese organizations working to strengthen the Nepal-China relationship expressed dissatisfaction about some Tibetan separatists using Nepali soil to carry out anti-China demonstrations.
Chairman of the China Study Center Madan Regmi expressed objection over some Tibetan refugees using Nepali soil to carry out anti-China protests in recent days.
"Most of those involved in demonstrations outside Chinese Embassy are violating refugee convention," Regmi said to Xinhua Friday, adding that they have to abide by the law and policy of the country in which they are residing.
The activities of the Dalai Lama clique in Nepal undoubtedly disrespect the foreign policy of Nepal, Regmi said.
He also criticized a section of the Western media working in Nepal for spreading misleading information regarding the separatist movement in the international arena just before the Beijing Olympics.
"It's ridiculous that some of the Western media used the photographs of Nepali police trying to prevent protestors from storming into Chinese Embassy premises as the image of police actions in Tibet," Regmi said.
It is easy to make out that the protest programs in Kathmandu are well-orchestrated dramas, Regmi added.
Regmi also said that there is no support from the Nepali public for the "farce" organized by separatist groups. "It is clear that the protest programs are carefully schemed by the so-called 'Tibet Independence' groups based overseas and the Dalai Lama clique."
Meanwhile, president of the Araniko Society Harish Chandra Shah said that the Nepali government should take serious measures to prevent the separatist groups from using Nepali soil to spread their propaganda.
"The so-called 'Free Tibet' groups are using Nepali soil to carry out protest programs aiming to sabotage the upcoming Beijing Olympics," Chandra said, adding that Nepal always considered the Tibet Autonomous Region as an integral part of China.
