China is certainly able to overcome difficulties and make the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games a success, U Ko Ko, CEO of Myanmar's Yangon Media Group said Friday.

In an interview with Xinhua, U Ko Ko said the disruption of the Olympic torch relay is masterminded by some people.

He said that it is an apparent plot to discredit China's image by using the Tibet issue to sabotage at a time when the Games are approaching.

They do not bear to see China developing and growing stronger, he noted.

The Olympic torch relay is a journey to spread the Olympic spirits and should win widespread supports, he added.

Meanwhile, some ethical Chinese residing in Myanmar also expressed their indignation to Xinhua after seeing the Olympic torch relay met with disruption and sabotage in some countries.

They said they resolutely oppose the trampling of the Olympic spirits and firmly support Chinese government's handling of the Tibet issue.
