The 11 programs of the Xinjiang Kanas scenic area, world famous for the mystical creatures in Kanas Lake, have been approved by the authorities. In the next two years, the scenic area is expected to expand to four times its current size; and Kanas National Park will be in its embryonic form.
According to the Xinjiang Kanas Scenic Area Management Committee, some of the 11 programs will be implemented this year.
