The rise of agricultural products price will not cause an all-out inflation in China, an expert said recently in an exclusive interview with People's Daily.

Han Jun, director of the Agricultural Department of Development Research Center of the State Council, said that no evidence showed the root cause of China's last three inflation peaks was the rise of agricultural products price.

Han said that supply still exceeds demand in China's economy. This pattern has not changed at consumer goods market.
