Guo Jiguang, former executive deputy director of the Jinan Railway Bureau, will face detainment for connection with the deadly train collision on April 28 that killed 72 and injured 416 in east China's Shandong Province.

The Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress permitted the detainment of Guo, who is also a deputy to the provincial people's congress, or the provincial legislature, at its third meeting on Friday.
