A 27-member Malaysian tour group has been out of danger in the quake-stricken Sichuan Province after the tourists had lost contact with the outside world for more than 90 hours.

The tourists, now in Sichuan's Maoxian County, had established contact with the Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, said a spokesman of the foreign affairs office of Sichuan.

They lost contact when traveling from Maoxian to Wenchuan amid the quake on May 12.
