Lien Chan, honorary chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) said Friday he will donate 1 million yuan (about 142,800 U.S. dollars) worth down coats and 2.5 million yuan in cash to earthquake-affected areas in Sichuan Province, southwest China.
Lien will make the donations via the China Charity Federation, according to the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.
