China on Tuesday urged Germany not to support Dalai Lama's secessionist activities with any means.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang made the remarks at a regular press conference when asked to make comments on the meeting between Dalai Lama and German Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Heidemarie Wieczorek-Zeul, which was held on Monday in Berlin despite China's objection.

"China is strongly against any nation, organization or individual using the Dalai Lama issue to interfere in China's internal affairs," Qin said.

China-Germany relations was stepping into the right path under the joint efforts of both nations, Qin said. The German government had reiterated in many occasions that it would stick to one-China policy and not support or encourage any move to seek for "Tibetan independence", Qin said, hoping that Germany would abide by its commitments.

The Germany side should not allow Dalai to conduct secessionist activities on its territory, and not send a wrong signal to the Dalai clique, in a bid to push forward the healthy growth of China-German relations, Qin noted.
