A hearing will be held on the fare for the Beijing Capital International Airport rail line on July 2, 2008.
The preliminarily proposal is to charge a flat fee of 25 yuan or 30 yuan each person per time.
Compared with the flat fare of 2 yuan for Beijing's other five subway lines, the airport rail line fare has been made a public concern.
The airport rail line, linking downtown Beijing with the Beijing Capital International Airport, mainly serves flight passengers.
The fare will consider both passengers' ability to pay and the operation cost.
