China's domestic automobile production, sales volumes exceed 3.7 million in first four months |

The production and sales volume of automobiles made in China hit record highs in both March and April. The auto market in China has gradually recovered due to a series of stimulus policies and measures for the auto industry.
According to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on May 8, from January to April this year, China produced 3.7248 million vehicles and sold 3.8319 million. These figures represent year-on-year increases of 6.4 percent and 9.43 percent respectively.
Statistics show that in the first four months, 2.6929 million domestic passenger vehicles were produced and 2.8267 million were sold, up 9.75 percent and 15.09 percent respectively year-on-year; 1.0319 million commercial vehicles were produced and 1.0052 million were sold, down 1.46 percent and 3.86 percent year-on-year.
