Good publicity will benefit the work of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top advisory body, Jia Qinglin, chairmen of the CPPCC National Committee, said Wednesday.
Jia made the remark when addressing a meeting of the CPPCC National Committee on its publicity work.
Good publicity and public relations will help the CPPCC exercise its duty as an advisor and supervisor on state affairs, he said, adding that it will also improve the public awareness of what the CPPCC is doing and gain their support.
He urged the CPPCC publicity offices to highlight the topics of united front and political consultation.
