China's State Council, or Cabinet, on Friday appointed Liu Tienan as vice minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Jin Yang was appointed deputy director of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, said a notice from the State Council.

State Councilor Ma Kai will concurrently take the post of president of the China National School of Administration (CNSA), the notice read.

Meanwhile, the State Council ended Wu Qidi's term as vice minister of Education, Cheng Jinpei's term as vice minister of Science and Technology, Wang Xianzheng's term as vice director of the State Administration of Work Safety.
