Senior Chinese leader He Guoqiang on Tuesday stressed the loyalty of the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s discipline watchdog to the Party.
"Members of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) should devote themselves to be loyal guardians of the Party, and true carers of the people's interests," the CCDI secretary said.
He, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a work conference of the CCDI.
"CCDI officials should maintain their loyalty to the Party and the country while engaging in relentless fight against corruption," he said.
He said the officials should also care for the interests of the ordinary people, to set up "an amicable, trustworthy and respectable image among the people". Source:Xinhua
