China's National Economic Structure Reform Work Conference was held on Monday or May.5th in the central China's city of Wuhan. Du Ying, Vice director of the State Development and Reform Commission, stressed at the meeting that China will gear up its efforts to open up a new prospect of reform and opening-up in the following six areas:
1, Make efforts to push forward the reform of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and the strategic restructuring of the state-owned economy so as to improve and perfect the basic socialist economic system
2, Promote the construction of the modern market system, and deepen the price reform of the essential factors of resources so as to guarantee in system the fundamental functions of the market allocation resources and the rapid transformation of the development mode.
3, Quicken the pace of transforming the government function, and deepen the structuring reform of planning, fiscal revenue, finance and investment in order to improve and perfect macro- control management system.
4, Deepen the reform of countryside.
5, Speed up constructing the social security system to safeguard social fairness and justice.
6, Accelerate the reform of foreign-related economic system.
