China's top disciplinary authorities dispatched 10 officials to the earthquake-ravaged Sichuan Province to help with post-quake reconstruction on Thursday.

They would temporarily serve as officials in local agencies of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Ministry of Supervision, according to Huang Shuxian, the CCDI deputy secretary.

He Guoqiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CCDI, said the move would strengthen disciplinary and supervision work at local level and offer a good opportunity for the training of young cadres.
