The 15th National Congress of Chinese Trade Unions will be held from October 17 to 21 in Beijing.
Among the representatives of this Congress, 47 are migrant workers. This is the first time for National Congress of Chinese Trade Unions to have migrant workers since China's reform and opening-up. At present, the election of representatives of the 15th National Congress of Chinese Trade Unions has come to an end.
This National Congress is composed of 36 delegations from Trade Unions in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, trade union of the national railway, civil aviation, finance, as well as Associated Trade Union of Offices Directly under the CCCPC and State Organs of the CPC. There are a total of 1800 representatives, 289 specially invited delegates, and 29 guests from Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR.
