Certain websites have violated Chinese laws by making "two Chinas", Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said in BeijingTuesday.

China in general adopts the opening-up policy. Chinese government conducts necessary management over the internet, it is the same with other countries, said Liu at a regular press briefing.

According to Liu, certain websites have breached Chinese laws by making "two Chinas". They regarded Chinese mainland and China's Taiwan as two independent regions.

Such a move "violates China's Anti-Secession Law and other laws," Liu stressed.

He urged these websites to take China's concern into serious consideration, refrain from violating China's laws, and create conditions for sound cooperation among China and certain countries as well as certain websites.
