The People's Daily, one of the world's top 10 newspapers,expands it's content starting from today, with the number of pages increasing from 16 to 20. This is a birthday present from the People's Daily to the CPC.

The retail price for the newspaper will not change. Page layout and content will be further adjusted and improved, with specific arrangements as follows:

Pages 1 to 5 cover important news, pages 6 to 16 cover news, and pages 17 to 20 cover weeklies, specials and supplements. Of these, Page 5 has been added for important news, Page 12 has been added for news about the construction of society, and Page 14 has been added for international news.

Meanwhile, the People's Daily will add one page on a weekly basis to cover theories, one to cover literature and art reviews, and one to cover literary works. The original weekly page covering science and education and the page covering social observation have been changed into a weekly page covering culture and education, and a weekly page covering people's livelihood.
