A delegation led by Chiang Pin-kung, chairman of Taiwan's Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), will visit Taiwan businesses on the mainland late this month, a statement posted on the website of SEF said Monday.
The delegation will leave for the mainland Feb. 24, and this visit will focus on cities in central China, including Changsha, Hefei and Nanchang. The visit is scheduled to end on Feb. 30, said the statement.
Apart from visiting Taiwan businesses, the delegation will also tour some local businesses in those cities in a bid to build a bridge for exchange and cooperation between Taiwan and mainland businesses, especially helping the mainland business people to make investments in Taiwan, according to the statement.
