China develops new generation of high-speed trains |

The Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Railway signed the "China high-speed train joint action plan for independent innovation cooperation agreement" on February 26 in Beijing; and decided to develop a new generation of high-speed trains running above 350 kilometers per hour. China's high-speed railway technology innovation has entered a new stage of development.
The two ministries plan to increase independent innovation and breakthroughs in key technologies; develop a new generation of high-speed trains that run over 350 kilometers per hour, and provide strong logistical support for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway; and to promote and enhance China's major manufacturing capabilities.
At present, China has mastered manufacturing technology to produce high-speed trains with speeds of 200 km and 300 km per hour.
