According to the Beijing Xi-hua 21st Century International School, the U.S. college-level Advanced Placement (AP) exam will be offered at this Beijing school on May 5 for the first time, by the approval of the United States University Council. Chinese students can now take the American college-level examination without going abroad.

AP courses are preferred courses, for outstanding students in the United States, used for entering the world's top universities. In September last year, it was formally introduced to the 21st Century International School in Beijing. Currently, there are seven existing test sites in Beijing, Shanghai, and other places. The application deadline for the examination is March 30, and internal candidates may visit www.siwaintl.com for relevant information.
