China's Falcon (L15) training aircraft arrived at Dubai International Airport Nov. 12, 2009, in preparation for the 10th Dubai International Aircraft Show.

It's the first time the Falcon series has exhibited outside China alongside other advanced training aircraft from different countries. According to some officials at Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), Falcon (L15) will be displayed inside before it will fly, demonstrating its great control and operating systems.

Falcon (L15) is a new type of supersonic training aircraft independently designed and produced by Hongdu Group, a subsidiary to AVIC II. Hongdu owns intellectual property rights of the design which combines many advanced technologies together with special features like cost effective training, long flight duration capability, low fuel consumption and a long service life.
