Beijing police intercepted eight foreign stowaway immigrants, who tried to enter Beijing during China's National Day holiday period ending Oct. 7, according to the Beijing Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection Administration.
The administration said all of the stowaways have been repatriated back home, but did not give the names of involved countries.
The administration said that a total of 185 foreign stowaways were stopped from entering China via Beijing in first nine months of this year.
The police said that the stowaways used fake documents or passports under false names, and some just claimed they were refugees.
