Maltese cargo ship catches fire in Shanghai, no casualties |

A Maltese cargo ship caught fire on Thursday morning while anchored in Shanghai but no casualties were reported.
A fire broke out in the hold of the ship, named "Selcon," at 7:40 a.m. as it sat moored in Zhanghuabang wharf, in the Wusongkou area where Shanghai's Huangpu River meets the sea, the city's maritime affairs administration said.
Fire fighters arrived at 8:15 a.m. They closed the hatches to seal off the flames and the fire was brought under control by 10:00 a.m.
