Exploding fireworks injured four passengers slightly on Saturday in a ticket office in a train station in east China's Fujian Province.
The ticket office was closed after the blast at 12:15 p.m. at Fuzhou railway station, in the capital of Fujian province, said Zhu Qing, spokesperson for the Fujian provincial government.
Zhu said the fireworks belonging to a man surnamed Wang from central Hubei Province exploded when he was queuing to buy a ticket.
Two of the injured have resumed their trips after medical treatment in hospital. Two others, including Wang who suffered minor burns in the chest and abdomen, are still being treated in hospital.
The station resumed ticket sales at 1:35 p.m..
Police are still investigating the explosion.
